Research 2 - Boundary Window House Japan - Tokyo by Shingo Masuda + Katsuhisa Otsubo

The most visual element is the steel window frame which is larger than the building itself.  a large glass curtain covers the entire building facade. When the lower section of the windows are opened, not only the window on the first floor open but the lower half of the second floor under the handrail.
this misalignment is enhanced, creating an unexpected viewpoint. The plane of the window also extends vertically over the roof, enclosing and defining a terrace.

This look like architecture window with curtain. Its really imaginative and spacious when looking at the scale. This build really contracts between the window scale.

Research - Ghost-like Architecture - Shingo Masuda and Katsuhisa Otsubo

These pictures who artist are Shingo Masuda and Katsuhisa Otsubo, they used mesh screens at the boundary of a property in Tokyo.
It's called Ghost-like Architecture, the screens are made of expanded metal and act as louvres.
1300 millimeter gap between the concrete block wall.

I really like the idea of space this design gives and how the curtains work with the false windows in front of the property.

Arsenal Station

I was interested with these bars that I saw when I visited Arsenal tube station. I thought about how these bars are designed both to separate people but also to keep people together. Maybe this could become the theme one my project.
